Brenda Potts has been a freelance outdoor writer and book author for 20 years. She authored Illinois Whitetails, Secrets of Turkey Ridge and Hunting Dream Jobs. Her articles have appeared in a number of outdoor magaines, including IL Game & Fish, Bowhunt America, and North American Whitetail. She is also an artist and creates coloring books with outdoor themes.
Brenda has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and completed 31 hours toward a Master's degree in Biology. She was appointed to a 6 year term on the IL Natural Resources Advisory Board by Governor Jim Edgar. She served as Constituency Liaison and Manager of Constituency Services for the IL Department of Natural Resources for 7 1/2 years.
In 2004 she formed her own marketing/public relations/consulting business and worked with several companies in the hunting industry. She is co-owner of Legacy Trails Media, LLC, and Co-producer of "Whitetail Explorer" and "Grace, Camo & Lace" on Sportsman Channel. She is Executive Director of the Kids Gone Hunting Foundation.
Stan Potts is Executive Producer and Co-host of Whitetail Explorer TV and Co-host of North American Whitetail TV on Sportsman Channel. He has hunted for over 40 years, harvesting numerous whitetails, 5 of which are 200-class bucks.
Stan has given hunting seminars all across North America and been the subject of many feature magazine articles. His hunting successes have been documented in North American Whitetail, Bowhunter, Illinois Game and Fish magazine and several other media sources.
He has appeared in several hunting videos including Drury Outdoors Power Calling, Realtree's Monster Bucks, Muzzy’s Bad to the Bone, and Hunter's Specialties Prime Time series. He is a former host of Gore Tex Outdoor Adventures, Mathews Dominant Bucks TV and Legacy Trails TV.
Stan hunts 100% wild whitetails on public and private property and is well known for his expertise in treestand placement, decoying and patterning big mature bucks.
When not in pursuit of whitetails Stan loves hunting elk, moose, grizzlies, mule deer, antelope and turkeys.
