HUNTING INDUSTRY VETERANS WRITE BOOK TO HELP OTHERS ATTAIN A DREAM JOB

Husband and wife team Stan and Brenda Potts have published a book to help others find a dream job in the hunting industry. With a combined 75 years of experience in various aspects of the hunting industry the pair worked with co-author Alli Armstrong to interview dozens of hunting industry veterans.

As part of a year-long effort, the authors gathered advice from corporate executives, marketing managers, television personalities, outfitters, guides, sales reps, cameramen, editors, outdoor writers and more. Each interviewee provided details of their personal journey, education and experience; including insight into job duties, benefits and challenges. Many well-known hunting industry personalities participated in the book project.

Ever wondered how to have your own television show, or write for major magazines? Is your dream job to hunt for a living? Do you have excellent sales skills or creative talents with a passion for hunting that could benefit you and the company you work for? Do you have an idea for a great product and want to start your own company? These questions and many more are discussed in the book.

Stan Potts, a well-known bowhunter, television personality and co-host of North American Whitetail TV, Mathew’s Dominant Bucks TV and Legacy Trails TV on Sportsman Channel, provided the foreword and an interesting, informative chapter in the book.

Brenda Potts, an author and outdoor writer with bylines in several major hunting magazines, spearheaded the project. A successful entrepreneur, executive producer, business owner and marketing consultant, she worked with top hunting industry companies, guiding them from small start-ups to top name corporations.

Co-author, Alli Armstrong spent hours conducting interviews with some of the top names in the hunting industry to garner advice and direction from some of the most experienced, successful and well-known people in the hunting industry. Whether you want to read the book from cover to cover or browse certain job categories or key in on specific advice, the book is written in an easy-to-read format.
